Food was good and I would have normally rated this a 4 but when we were waiting on our main course they cleared our appetizer (which still had food which we were saving to have with our main) without asking. They were great in getting us a new order, but that experience mixed with the push to get us to leave for the next group, left a bad taste in my mouth...

My workmates and I had a group dinner at Barcha, where they served the food family-style. All of the food they served was amazing--hummus, croquettes, chicken, beef, baklava, and pot de creme. My only gripe is that the place is pretty loud, which makes it difficult to hear conversations. Other than that, definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Trendy spot in the downtown SF area. I was able to book a table for 5 for a weeknight at 6pm. Super crowded and it can get loud later towards the night with very loud talking and background music. But the food was awesome!Lamb in tomato sauce was absolutely delicious. I love it. The tangy tomato sauce was well balanced. Chopped salad was very refreshing.Lamb meatball was very flavorful too. Grilled octopus was well done. Grilled perfectly.Sauteed prawns was also tasty.I think dessert was okay since I don't remember what we had, then it means we could have skipped it.So that means everything we ordered was delicious! That's a super + for a restaurant. The dishes were on the smaller side, more like tapa style. 5 dishes for 5 people was probably a little on the short side if you are hungry. But everything was absolutely delicious.
